Good quotes! I love the Carl Sandburg quote about life being like an onion.

I can't believe it is already August either! I am conflicted about the end of summer. I am looking forward to a quieter home, but I will miss the kids and sleeping in that extra hour and a half.

I've been thinking a lot about this lately. Time is going by so fast; and lord knows, I ain't getting any younger. I keep reminding myself "live first, blog later" but it doesn't always work out in that order :D

Love the Carl Sanburg quote! I can't believe we're in August either. The old quote "Time Stands Still For No One" is proving to be true.

Great collection of quotes! I like the one that is highlighted ... about making your life worth living. Sometimes I think my life would be a very boring movie!

I'm so glad August is here! That means in about a month it is going to start cooling down a little bit in Arizona, the 115 degree heat is almost ever! It's like a light at the end of a tunnel.
